My practice demonstrates a strong sense of place, incorporating sculpture, mixed media, printmaking, installation, public and community art projects. I explore personal memory and local histories, interior settings from my past as well as the character, wonder and peril of the WA coastline: my immediate surroundings. The language of materials is a key aspect of my art, I have a passion for found objects, specimens, collections and the narratives embedded within them.
